Sense of Kinship
Just curious, ISTPs;
what creates a sense of kinship for you, if this word even exists in your personal dictionary?

Enjoying doing stuff...and other people being there (participating preferably, but observing can work too)

Good question...I'll think this over for a bit.
ISTP definitely experience kinship and xenophobia...

It exists in everyone's dictionary, regardless of type. Read the above post to get a sense for what kinship means to ISTPs (and perhaps ESTPs as well). STPs tend to bond over something they find interesting.

Re: Sense of Kinship
i think i feel kinship with other Observer types. Also rationals.
Definitely bond over things that are interesting, unusual circumstances, observing something we both find amusing, and then just a vibe thing?
I'm not sure.

Re: Sense of Kinship
Hmm.
May I dissect deeper?
What is 'enjoyable' ? Calm can mean enjoyable. So is loudly swearing and drinking gallons of beer. So is sipping around, drawing cute images on fake nails and eating cupcakes (lovely! Those butter.)
How would 'participating' and 'observing' be translated, IRL? (I'm entering Fe realm here; yes, there are multiple ways, not to mention perspectives, of 'participating' and 'observing', IRL.)
As far as 'being there' are concerned, how would you prefer; often? not-so-often? lightly? deeply?
And..against the man; what do you mean exactly? /completelyserioushere

Yeah I think he and Prom are sinking to new levels of stupid bans and infractions. And what happened to the threads here ranting about PerC? @Khys I tried to send you a PM to grant me access to the 'secret forum'. Did you get it?

The forum is hidden except for authorized users.
I'd give you access Siren, but I don't know what I'm doing on here as a moderator--the training seminar was dreadful.
I compensate by hitting the right corner "X" button everytime someone says something I don't like.
Yes. That just happened.

Re: Sense of Kinship
I was on vacation last week and I get irritated because my laptop is broken and I have to post on my iPad. There are limitations to that so I get pissy and don't post anything. I have been lurking and keeping up with what's been going on, though.

Ocean city, NJ. It was very nice and relaxing. We got hit by the storms but I slept through everything.

Lol. Well there were a few times when I was riding my bike on the boardwalk and people kept stepping in front of me without looking first. I did want to beat some ass.

Re: Sense of Kinship
There is an "Ocean City" in my state. I hate it. Too touristy for my liking; I haven't been there in about 5-6 years now.
I went to the Outer Banks last year and I loved it. Nothing but sea, sand and pizza shops...this is as close to nature as it comes.
Pretty cheap, too. You can rent a beach house for a whole week under a grand.

Re: Sense of Kinship
That's awesome. We paid 2.5 times that for our place. But that's for 11 people.
I've been to OCMD many times. It is very touristy. It's fine when you're younger, I guess.
OCNJ is lots quieter. The island is totally dry, so no drunk assholes ruining things, at least where I stay. Very quiet and relaxing.

.....Cow catcher. Sounds hilarious.
Glad you're having good vacation. Sleeping is quite a good way to get through anything; storms or otherwise.
